As a Pharmacy Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient coordination of pharmacy services across our organization. This role will be responsible for coordinating external Pharmacy Benefits communication with Members, Doctors, and Pharmacies. Also, this position facilitates the development of Quartz Pharmacy's Programs and Strategies while overseeing the assigned aspects of Quartz's engagement with drug-related benefits and operations.

Benefits:

    Typical work week; Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5pm. May vary due to urgent business needs.

  • Starting pay rate: $20 /hr. based on skills and experience + robust total rewards package.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage pharmacy benefit programs, including formulary management, prior authorizations, and medication adherence programs.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy providers to ensure timely and accurate prescription fulfillment and delivery.
  • Analyze pharmacy data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvement, and enhanced member satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize medication therapy and improve health outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on pharmacy-related issues, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications
  • High School Equalivant or Associate Degree in related field.
  • 2 + years of experience healthcare setting, managed care, PBM, or pharmacy setting.
  • Maintain knowledge of contracts, applications, products, and regulations (Medicare, ACA, Commercial).
  • Maintain knowledge of benefit systems and claims processing systems.
  • Strong interest in clinical and operational pharmacy services excellence.
  • Familiar with clinical program components, formulary designs, and prescription drug benefit trends
  • Able to demonstrate skills in prioritization, problem solving & critical thinking, team building, decision making, time management and strategic planning.
  • Pharmacy Technician license in WI, IL, MN, or IA is strongly preferred not required
  • Create strong relationships and provide positive experiences for internal partners.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

This position can work 100% remotely or from one of our offices in Madison, WI or Onalaska, WI in a hybrid or full-time on-site arrangement, if preferred. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
